Los Angeles – The City of Dreams

Los Angeles popularly known as LA is the second largest city in U.S.A belonging to the state of California. It is the largest city of California located in the southern parts of California. As the name suggests, it is known as the city of Angeles. Total population of the city is around 4 million and the area covered is about 480 square miles. People belonging to the city are often termed as Angelinos. For centuries LA has been the city f dreams where you can get all the things you want from life. The city is famous for its happening night life and great food. People here are really open and happy to help. You might have heard about the famous casinos of Los Angeles. Lot of Hollywood movies have been made around the city life covering various aspects of LA. This is why LA is also known as the entertainment capital of the world.

As history goes, the city was founded in the year 1781 by a Spanish governor. In the year 1821, LA became an official part of Mexico and got free from Spain. Then again 20 years later the city was sold to US by Mexican government as a treaty to the end the war between the two giants. Since then LA has been an integral part of US.
